Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter and a standalone entry in the franchise developed by Infinity Ward and released in 2013. Unlike previous Call of Duty titles, Ghosts introduces an entirely new narrative universe, centered around the aftermath of a devastating attack on the United States by a South American Federation known as “The Federation.” The single-player campaign follows the story of two brothers, Logan and Hesh Walker, who join an elite covert unit known as the Ghosts—a legendary group of soldiers who operate in the shadows to protect what remains of the U.S. The campaign features large-scale battles, stealth operations, underwater missions, and even space-based combat, adding new depth and spectacle to the series. The plot revolves around the betrayal of a former Ghost operative named Rorke, who now works for the enemy and hunts his former brothers-in-arms.
